Claims: | 1. An inhaler including a joint coupled to a movable keying surface shaped to mate with a correspondingly shaped keying surface on a lower half of a cartridge, wherein the joint is configured to move the lower half of the cartridge relative to an upper half of the cartridge thereby allowing airflow through the cartridge and into a mouthpiece, and wherein the cartridge is loaded into a mixing section when the mouthpiece is at an angle of about 90 degrees relative to a longitudinal exit axis of an intake section in use. 2. The inhaler according to claim 1, wherein the movable keying surface is a rectangular orifice. 3. The inhaler according to claim 1, wherein the keying surface is rectangular. 4. The inhaler according to claim 1, wherein the mouthpiece is coupled to the joint. 5. The inhaler according to claim 4, wherein the mouthpiece is used to move the joint. 6. The inhaler according to claim 5, wherein the joint is located within the mixing section. 7. The inhaler according to claim 6, wherein the cartridge is loaded into the mixing section including a second keying surface configured to engage the upper half of the cartridge. 8. The inhaler according to claim 7, wherein the inhaler is ready to use when the mouthpiece is parallel to the intake section. 9. The inhaler according to claim 7, wherein the cartridge includes protrusions on a surface of the upper half, the lower half or a combination thereof thereby providing one or more locking positions. 10. The inhaler according to claim 7, wherein the lower half of the cartridge is fitted into the moveable keying surface coupled to the joint and the upper half of the cartridge is fixed to the second keying surface. 11. The inhaler according to claim 1, wherein the cartridge includes a medicament. 12. The inhaler according to claim 11, wherein the medicament is a dry powder. 13. An inhaler including a movable keying surface shaped to mate with a correspondingly shaped keying surface on a lower half of a cartridge, wherein the movable keying surface is configured to move the lower half of the cartridge relative to an upper half of the cartridge thereby allowing airflow through the cartridge and into a mouthpiece, and wherein inhaled airflow is configured to flow through and around the cartridge. 14. The inhaler according to claim 13, wherein the movable keying surface is a rectangular orifice. 15. The inhaler according to claim 13, wherein the keying surface is rectangular. 16. The inhaler according to claim 13, wherein the mouthpiece is configured to move the movable keying surface. 17. The inhaler according to claim 13, wherein the cartridge is loaded into a mixing section including a second keying surface configured to engage the upper half of the cartridge. 18. The inhaler according to claim 13, wherein the inhaler is ready to use when the mouthpiece is parallel to an intake section. 19. The inhaler according to claim 13, wherein the cartridge includes a medicament. 20. The inhaler according to claim 19, wherein the medicament is a dry powder. 21. The inhaler according to claim 13, wherein the cartridge includes protrusions on a surface of the upper half, the lower half or a combination thereof thereby providing one or more locking positions. 22. The inhaler according to claim 13, wherein the lower half of the cartridge is fitted into the moveable keying surface and the upper half of the cartridge is fixed to the second keying surface. |
