Claims: | 1. An apparatus, comprising: a simulated medicament delivery device devoid of a medicament delivery mechanism that causes a medicament to be delivered, the simulated medicament delivery device including a housing; and an electronic circuit system coupled to the housing, the electronic circuit system including an audible output device and a cover, a first portion of the audible output device configured to produce a first plurality of sound waves, a second portion of the audible output device configured to produce a second plurality of sound waves having a phase difference with the first plurality of sound waves, the housing and the cover collectively defining an acoustic enclosure, at least one of the housing or the cover defining a first opening, at least one of the housing or the cover defining a second opening, the audible output device configured to be disposed within the acoustic enclosure such that the first plurality of sound waves travels from the first portion of the audible output device to a region outside of the housing via the first opening and the second plurality of sound waves travels from the second portion of the audible output device to the region outside of the housing via the second opening, the second opening spaced apart from the first opening such that the phase difference between the first plurality of sound waves and the second plurality of sound waves is shifted when the first plurality of sound waves exits the first opening and the second plurality of sound waves exits the second opening. 2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein: the audible output device is a speaker, the first portion of the speaker being a front portion configured to output the first plurality of sound waves, the second portion of the speaker being the back portion of the speaker configured to output the second plurality of sound waves; the cover defines the first opening; and the housing defines the second opening, the first opening and is spaced apart from the second opening such that the first plurality of sound waves is substantially in phase with the second plurality of sound waves when the first plurality of sound waves exits the first opening and the second plurality of sound waves exits the second opening. 3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the acoustic enclosure defines at least one acoustic resonant frequency within the acoustic frequency range of the audible output device. 4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the audible output device is a speaker configured to output an audible output having a sound pressure level greater than about 61 decibels. 5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein: the electronic circuit system is configured to output to the audible output device an electronic signal having a power of less than 100 milliwatts; and the audible output device is configured to output a recorded speech output in response to the electronic signal, the recorded speech output having a sound pressure level greater than about 61 decibels. 6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the audible output device is a speaker, the housing includes a spacer configured to contact the speaker such that a front portion of the speaker is maintained in contact with a portion of the cover. 7. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein a sealing member is disposed between the first portion of the audible output device and the cover to define a substantially airtight seal. 8. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein: the cover defines the first opening at a proximal end portion of the simulated medicament delivery device; and the housing defines the second opening at a distal end portion of the simulated medicament delivery device. 9. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the simulated medicament delivery device includes a cover removably coupled to a distal end portion of the housing, a protrusion of the cover disposed within the acoustic chamber via the second opening when the cover is coupled to the distal end portion, the protrusion of the cover spaced apart from the second opening when the cover is removed from the distal end portion of the housing. 10. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the simulated medicament delivery device includes a cover coupled to a distal end portion of the housing, a protrusion of the cover disposed within the acoustic chamber via the second opening, the protrusion configured to reversibly actuate the electronic circuit system when the cover is moved relative to the housing. 11. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the simulated medicament delivery device includes a cover coupled to a distal end portion of the housing, a protrusion of the cover disposed within the acoustic chamber via the second opening, the protrusion disposed between a terminal of a power source and the electronic circuit system when the cover is in a first position, the protrusion disposed apart from the terminal of the power source when movable member is removed from the housing. 12. An apparatus, comprising: a simulated medicament delivery device configured to simulate the use of an actual medicament delivery device, the simulated medicament delivery device being devoid of at least one of a medicament or a needle, the simulated medicament delivery device including a first housing member and a second housing member; and an electronic circuit system coupled to the first housing member, the electronic circuit system including a speaker including a front portion and a back portion, the front portion of the speaker configured to output a first plurality of sound waves, the back portion of the speaker configured to output a second plurality of sound waves, the first housing member defining at least a portion of a first exit path through which the first plurality of sound waves is configured to travel from the front portion of the speaker to a region outside of the housing, the second housing member defining at least a portion of a second exit path through which the second plurality of sound waves is configured to travel from the back portion of the speaker to the region outside of the housing, a length of the first exit path different from a length of the second exit path such that the first plurality of sound waves is substantially in phase with the second plurality of sound waves when the first plurality of sound waves exits the first exit path and the second plurality of sound waves exits the second exit path. 13. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the length of the first exit path is less than the length of the second exit path. 14. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein: the first housing member defines a first opening through which the first plurality of sound waves is configured to travel; and the second housing member defines a second opening through which the second plurality of sound waves is configured to travel, a distance between the first opening and the second opening is between about 2.5 inches and about 3 inches. 15. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the second housing member defines an opening through which the second plurality of sound waves is configured to travel, the opening configured to be selectively covered by a moveable member of the simulated medicament delivery device. 16. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein a sealing member is disposed between the front portion of the speaker and the first housing member to define a substantially airtight seal. 17. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the simulated medicament delivery device includes a cover, a protrusion of the cover disposed within the second exit path when the cover is coupled to the simulated medicament delivery device, the protrusion of the cover disposed outside of the second exit path when the cover is removed from the simulated medicament delivery device. 18. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the simulated medicament delivery device includes a cover, a protrusion of the cover disposed within the second exit path, the protrusion configured to reversibly actuate the electronic circuit system when the cover is moved relative to the simulated medicament delivery device. 19. An apparatus, comprising: a simulated medicament delivery device configured to simulate the use of an actual medicament delivery device, the simulated medicament delivery device being devoid of at least one of a medicament or a needle, the simulated medicament delivery device having a housing defining a first exit path and a second exit path; an electronic circuit system coupled to the housing and configured to produce an electronic signal when actuated; and an audible output device disposed within the housing, a first portion of the audible output device configured to produce a first plurality of sound waves associated with the electronic signal, the housing configured such that the first plurality of sound waves travels via the first exit path from the first portion of the audible output device to a region outside of the housing, a second portion of the audible output device configured to produce a second plurality of sound waves associated with the electronic signal, the housing configured such that the second plurality of sound waves travels via the second exit path from the second portion of the audible output device to the region outside of the housing, the second plurality of sound waves having a phase difference with the first plurality of sound waves, a length of the first exit path and a length of the second exit path collectively configured such that the second plurality of sound waves constructively interferes with the first plurality of sound waves in the region outside of the housing. 20. The apparatus of claim 19, wherein the housing includes a first housing member and a second housing member configured to be coupled to the first housing member, the first housing member defining at least a portion of the first exit path, the second housing member defining at least a portion of the second exit path. 21. The apparatus of claim 19, wherein: a first portion of the housing defines a first opening in fluid communication with the first exit path; and a second portion of the housing defines a second opening in fluid communication with the second exit path, the second opening spaced apart from the first opening such that a phase difference between the first plurality of sound waves and the second plurality of sound waves is shifted when the first plurality of sound waves exits the first opening and the second plurality of sound waves exits the second opening. 22. The apparatus of claim 19, wherein the simulated medicament delivery device includes a cover, a protrusion of the cover disposed within the second exit path when the cover is coupled to the simulated medicament delivery device, the protrusion of the cover disposed outside of the second exit path when the cover is removed from the housing. 23. The apparatus of claim 19, wherein the simulated medicament delivery device includes a movable ember cover, a protrusion of the cover disposed within the second exit path, the protrusion configured to reversibly actuate the electronic circuit system when the cover is moved relative to the housing. 24. The apparatus of claim 19, wherein: the simulated medicament delivery device includes a cover coupled to the housing; and the electronic circuit system includes a switch operably coupled to a protrusion of the cover such that the protrusion of the cover actuates the switch in response to the cover being moved relative to the housing, the electronic circuit system configured to produce the electronic signal in response to the switch being actuated. |
