or a stereoisomer, a tautomer, an N-oxide, or a salt thereof, or a mixture of same.

The compound according to claim 1, wherein: R.sup.1 represents a C.sub.2-C.sub.10-alkyl-, halo-C.sub.1-C.sub.10-alkyl-, HO--C.sub.1-C.sub.10-alkyl-, C.sub.1-C.sub.10-alkoxy-C.sub.1-C.sub.10-alkyl-, aryloxy-C.sub.1-C.sub.10-alkyl-, halo-C.sub.1-C.sub.10-alkoxy-C.sub.1-C.sub.10-alkyl-, C.sub.2-C.sub.10-alkenyl-, C.sub.2-C.sub.10-alkynyl-, C.sub.3-C.sub.10-cycloalkyl-, 3- to 10-membered heterocycloalkyl-, aryl-, C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkylene-aryl-, C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkylene-heteroaryl-, --C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkylene-C.sub.3-C.sub.10-cycloalkyl, --C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkylene-(3- to 10-membered heterocycloalkyl), --C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkylene-aryl, --C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkylene-heteroaryl group; 2-chloro-4-{7-cyano-4-[(thiophen-2-ylmethyl)amino]imidazo[1,2-a]quinoxali- n-1-yl}-N-cyclopropylbenzamide and 4-{4-[(3-amino-3-oxopropyl)amino]-7-cyanoimidazo[1,2-a]quinoxalin-1-yl}-2- -chloro-N-cyclopropylbenzamide.

5. A method of preparing a compound according to claim 1, in which method an intermediate compound of general formula (4): ##STR00372## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, and R.sup.7 are as defined in claim 1, and Y represents a halogen atom, is allowed to react with an intermediate compound of general formula: R.sup.2--Z in which R.sup.2 is as defined in claim 1, and Z is a suitable functional group via which the R.sup.2 of the R.sup.2--Z compound can be coupled onto the Y-bearing carbon atom of a compound (4), thereby replacing said Y with said R.sup.2 moiety, thus providing a compound of general formula (I): ##STR00373## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are as defined in claim 1.

6. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound according to claim 1, and a pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier.

7. A pharmaceutical combination comprising: one or more compounds according to claim 1; and one or more agents selected from: a taxane; an epothilone; Mitoxantrone; Prednisolone; Dexamethasone; Estramustine; Vinblastine; Vincristine; Doxorubicin; Idarubicin; Daunorubicin; Bleomycin; Etoposide; Cyclophosphamide; Ifosfamide; Procarbazine; Melphalan; 5-Fluorouracil; Capecitabine; Fludarabine; Cytarabine; 2-Chloro-2'-deoxyadenosine; Thioguanine; an anti-androgen; Bortezomib; a platinum derivative; Chlorambucil; Methotrexate; and Rituximab.

8. The pharmaceutical combination according to claim 7, wherein the taxane is selected from Docetaxel and Paclitaxel.

9. The pharmaceutical combination according to claim 7, wherein the epothilone is selected from Ixabepilone, Patupilone, and Sagopilone.

10. The pharmaceutical combination according to claim 7, wherein the anti-androgen is selected from Flutamide, Cyproterone acetate, and Bicalutamide.

11. The pharmaceutical combination according to claim 7, wherein the platinum derivative is selected from Cisplatin and Carboplatin.

12. The compound according to claim 1, wherein: R.sup.2 represents an aryl- or heteroaryl-group; wherein said group is substituted one time with --C(.dbd.O)NR.sup.9R.sup.10 and is optionally substituted with a substituent selected from: halo-, hydroxy-, cyano-, C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkyl-, halo-C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkyl-.

13. The compound according to claim 1, wherein: R.sup.2 represents an aryl- or heteroaryl-group; wherein said group is substituted one time with --C(.dbd.O)NH-cyclopropyl and is optionally substituted with a substituent selected from: halo-, hydroxy-, cyano-, C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkyl-, halo-C.sub.1-C.sub.6-alkyl-.
