Abstract:	Process for preparing 1-(p-methylsulfinylbenzylidene)-2-methyl-5-fluoro-3-indenylacetic acid by methylating 1-(p-methylsulfinylbenzylidene)-5-fluoro-3-indenylacetic acid or a derivative thereof. Also included are novel 1-(p-methylsulfinylbenzylidene)-5-fluoro-3-indenylacetic acid intermediates.
