1. Method of treating viral infections in a warm blooded or a cold blooded animal having a viral infection which comprises administering an effective amount of
9-(1,3-dihydroxy-2-propoxymethyl)guanine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a composition containing same as an active ingredient.
2. Method according to claim 1 of treating a warm blooded animal.
3. Method according to claim 1 of treating a cold blooded animal.
