Abstract:	Pharmaceutical compositions comprising a pharmaceutical carrier and a bis-chromonyl compound of the formulaAND THERAPEUTICALLY ACCEPTABLE SALTS, ESTERS AND AMIDES THEREOF, IN WHICH R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are each selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, hydroxyloweralkyl, haloloweralkyl, hydroxyloweralkoxy, loweralkoxyloweralkoxy and carboxyloweralkoxy; and X is selected from the group consisting of saturated and unsaturated, straight and branched hydrocarbon chains which may be interrupted by a member selected from the group consisting of benzene rings, dioxanyl, oxygen atoms and carbonyl groups, and which may be substituted by a member selected from the group consisting of halogen atoms, hydroxy groups and lower alkoxy groups are active to inhibit antigenantibody reaction.
