Patent Claims:	1. A method of treating a disease or disorder selected from pain, a behavioral stressor, craving, nausea, vomiting, substance dependence, anxiety, pruritus, or atopic dermatitis in a patient in need thereof, comprising: administering to the patient tradipitant at a dose of 85 mg/day. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the dose of 85 mg/day is given as 85 mg once daily (qd). 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the disease or disorder is ameliorated by the administration of tradipitant. 4. The method of claim 3, wherein the disease or disorder ameliorated by the administration of tradipitant is caused by an over-expression of substance P or over-stimulation of the neurokinin-1 (NK-1) receptor. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the disease or disorder comprises pain. 6. The method of claim 1, further comprising orally administering the tradipitant to the patient. 7. The method of claim 6, wherein the tradipitant is in a solid immediate release form comprising the tradipitant and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. 8. The method of claim 7, wherein the solid immediate release form comprises a capsule or a tablet. 9. The method of claim 1, wherein the disease or disorder comprises a behavioral stressor. 10. The method of claim 1, wherein the disease or disorder comprises craving. 11. The method of claim 1, wherein the disease or disorder comprises substance dependence. 12. The method of claim 1, wherein the disease or disorder comprises anxiety. 13. The method of claim 1, wherein the disease or disorder comprises pruritus. 14. The method of claim 1, wherein the disease or disorder comprises atopic dermatitis. 15. A method of treating nausea in a patient in need thereof, comprising: administering to the patient tradipitant at a dose of 85 mg. 16. The method of claim 15, further comprising orally administering the tradipitant to the patient. 17. The method of claim 16, wherein the tradipitant is in a solid immediate release form comprising the tradipitant and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. 18. A method of treating vomiting in a patient in need thereof, comprising: administering to the patient tradipitant at a dose of 85 mg. 19. The method of claim 18, further comprising orally administering the tradipitant to the patient. 20. The method of claim 19, wherein the tradipitant is in a solid immediate release form comprising the tradipitant and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. 21. The method of claim 15, wherein treating nausea in the patient comprises prophylactically treating the patient. 22. The method of claim 18, wherein treating vomiting in the patient comprises prophylactically treating the patient.
