A method of treating a patient suffering from a mood or affective disorder selected from the group consisting of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, Tourette's Syndrome, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, consisting of administering to the patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of viloxazine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in a formulation. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the disorder is selected from the group consisting of anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the therapeutically effective amount is from about 20 to about 800 mg a day. 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the therapeutically effective amount is from about 100 to about 600 mg a day. 5. The method of claim 4, wherein the therapeutically effective amount is from about 150 to about 400 mg a day. 6. The method of claim 4, wherein the therapeutically effective amount is from 150 to 300 mg a day. 7. The method of claim 1, which provides an improved adverse effect profile. 8. The method of claim 1, wherein the patient is a human child. 9. The method of claim 1, wherein the disorder is anxiety. 10. The method of claim 1, wherein the disorder is depression. 11. The method of claim 1, wherein the disorder is bipolar disorder. 12. The method of claim 1, wherein the disorder is obsessive compulsive disorder. 13. The method of claim 1, wherein the disorder is Tourette's Syndrome. 14. The method of claim 1, wherein the disorder is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. 15. A method of treating a patient suffering from a mood or affective disorder, wherein the disorder is co-morbid with ADHD, consisting of administering to the patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of viloxazine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in a formulation. 16. The method of claim 15, wherein the disorder is selected from the group consisting of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, Tourette's Syndrome, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. 17. The method of claim 15, wherein the disorder is selected from the group consisting of anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. 18. The method of claim 15, wherein the therapeutically effective amount is from about 20 to about 800 mg a day. 19. The method of claim 15, wherein the therapeutically effective amount is from about 100 to about 600 mg a day. 20. The method of claim 19, wherein the therapeutically effective amount is from about 150 to about 400 mg a day. 21.
