Abstract:The correct sequence is disclosed for the beta subunit of human follicle stimulating hormone which, when present in a recombinant heterodimeric human fertility hormone allows the production of biologically active hormone. DNA coding for such beta subunit of human FSH may thus be prepared as well as expression vectors containing such DNA and cells transfected therewith.
