Abstract: An inhaler for inhaling medicaments has a body for retaining a medicament store; the body including a dose counter, the dose counter having a moveable actuator and a return spring for the actuator, the return spring having a generally cylindrical and annular end; the body having a support formation therein for supporting the end of the return spring, the support formation comprising a shelf onto which the end of the return spring is engageable and a recess below the shelf.

Claims:1. An inhaler for inhaling medicaments including an active drug, the inhaler having: a body for retaining a medicament store; the body including a dose counter, the dose counter having a moveable actuator and a return spring for the actuator, the return spring having a generally cylindrical and annular end; the body having a support formation therein for supporting said end of the return spring, the support formation comprising a shelf onto which said end is engageable and a recess below the shelf and at least partially axially aligned with said end of the return spring for facilitating installation of the return spring onto the shelf.

2. The inhaler as claimed in claim 1, wherein the shelf comprises a U-shaped body having an opening formed therein.

3. The inhaler as claimed in claim 2, wherein free ends of the U-shaped body of the shelf each includes a chamfered surface to assist in moving the annular end of the return spring into position on the shelf.
