Claims:1. An ectoparasiticidal composition comprising a physiologically-acceptable inert carrier and a compound of the formula ##STR4## wherein R is H or a group selected from ##STR5## R.sup.2 is ##STR6## R.sup.1, R.sup.3, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are hydrogen or methyl; R.sup.4 is methyl or ethyl; and provided that R, R.sup.1, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 must be present in one of the following combinations:

or an acid addition salt of a compound wherein R is other than hydrogen.

2. An ectoparasiticidal composition of claim 1 in the form of a feed premix wherein the inert carrier is orally acceptable.

3. An ectoparasiticidal composition of claim 1 wherein the compound is selected from ##STR7## wherein R is H or a group selected from ##STR8## R.sup.2 is ##STR9## R.sup.1, R.sup.3, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are hydrogen or methyl; R.sup.4 is methyl or ethyl; and provided that R, R.sup.1, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 must be present in one of the following combinations:

or an acid addition salt of a compound wherein R is other than hydrogen

or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof.
