|Claims:||1. A method of treating a human having an HTLV III infection, which comprises administering to said human an effective amount of 3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and interferon. |
2. A method according to claim 1, in which 3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine is administered orally or parenterally.
3. A method according to claim 2, in which the interferon is .alpha.-interferon.
4. In a method of treating a human having an HTLV III infection and who is being administered .alpha.-interferon, the step of also parenterally or orally administering to said human an effective treatment amount of 3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine to said human.
