|Title:||3-Amino, 4-thio-substituted, 5-sulphamyl-benzoic acid derivatives|
|Abstract:||This invention relates to new, therapeutically active compounds of the general formula ##SPC1## In which A represents one of the groupings ##EQU1## R.sup.2 --O--, R.sup.2 --S--, R.sup.2 --OS--, and R.sup.2 --O.sub.2 S--, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, and R.sup.4 each represents hydrogen, an aliphatic radical, a cycloaliphatic radical, or an aromatically, cycloaliphatically, or heterocyclically substituted aliphatic radical, in addition to which R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may each represent an aromatic or heterocyclic radical, and when A is ##EQU2## R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be linked to form a 5- to 8-membered heterocyclic ring system, which may have one or more nitrogen atoms, sulphur atoms, or oxygen atoms in addition to the nitrogen atom linked to R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 ; R.sup.5 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; and R.sup.6 is hydrogen or lower alkyl or acyl; to salts, esters, and amides of the said compounds; and to methods for the production of the compounds.|

|Claims:||1. A compound of the formula ##SPC5## |
in which A is R.sup.2 -- S --, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, and R.sup.4 are saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals having from 1 to 7 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl and cycloalkenyl radicals having from 3-8 carbon atoms, phenyl-lower alkyl radicals having from 7 to 10 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl -- lower alkyl radicals having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may also be mono- or bi-cyclic carbocyclic aryl radicals, R.sup.5 is a lower alkyl radical, R.sup.6 is a lower alkyl radical or a lower alkanoyl groups, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 may also be a hydrogen atom, R.sup.2 may also be substituted with chlorine, fluorine, methyl, trifluoromethyl, carboxy, carbethoxy, dimethyl amino, hydroxy, methoxy, benzyloxy, or sulfamyl groups and R.sup.4 may be substituted with chlorine, methyl, and methoxy groups; pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and esters thereof with lower alkanols, phenol, cyanomethanol or benzyl alcohol.
2. 3-n-Butylamino-4-phenyl-thio-5-sulfamyl-benzoic acid, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or an ester thereof with a lower alkanol, phenol, cyanomethanol or benzyl alcohol.
3. 3-Benzylamino-4-phenylthio-5-sulfamyl-benzoic acid, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or an ester thereof with a lower alkanol, phenol, cyanomethanol or benzyl alcohol.
