Patent Claims:1. A method of treating obsessive compulsive dermatillomania in a human patient having obsessive compulsive skin picking, comprising local administration of a therapeutically effective amount of a botulinum toxin to a dermal skin picking location of said patient, thereby treating the obsessive compulsive dermatillomania in said patient.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the botulinum toxin is selected from the group consisting of botulinum toxin types A, B, C, D, E, F and G.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the botulinum toxin is type A botulinum toxin.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the obsessive compulsive dermatillomania is treated for between about one month and about five years.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the skin picking location is a facial location of said patient.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the local administration is by subdermal or intradermal administration.

7. A method of treating obsessive compulsive dermatillomania in a human patient having obsessive compulsive skin picking, comprising local administration of a therapeutically effective amount of botulinum toxin type A to a dermal skin picking location of said patient, thereby treating the obsessive compulsive dermatillomania for between about one month and about five years.

8. A method of treating a human patient with obsessive compulsive dermatillomania in a human patient having obsessive compulsive skin picking, comprising local administration of a therapeutically effective amount of botulinum toxin type B to a dermal skin picking location of said patient, thereby treating the obsessive compulsive dermatillomania.
