Patent Claims:1. A method for treating juvenile cerebral palsy, the method comprising the step of administering a therapeutically effective amount of a botulinum toxin type B to a juvenile cerebral palsy patient, thereby treating juvenile cerebral palsy.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the botulinum toxin is administered intramuscularly.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the botulinum toxin is administered subcutaneously.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the botulinum toxin is administered into a spastic muscle.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the amount of the botulinum toxin type B is from about 80 units of botulinum toxin to about 460 units of the botulinum toxin type B.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the amount of the botulinum toxin type B is at least 500 units of the botulinum toxin type B.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the amount of the botulinum toxin type B is at least 1000 units of the botulinum toxin type B.

8. A method of treating juvenile cerebral palsy, the method comprising the step of administering at least 1000 units of a botulinum toxin type B to a juvenile cerebral palsy patient, thereby treating juvenile cerebral palsy.
